'Wardrobe malfunction' enters the lexicon: The phrase "wardrobe malfunction" has been chosen as the most influential term to emerge recently out of Hollywood by a group that analyses linguistic trends.
The phrase - which was included in Justin Timberlake's apology for Janet Jackson's bare-breast performance at the Super Bowl - topped the Global Language Monitor's list of so-called "Hollywords," terms that are spawned by the entertainment industry and then become absorbed into mainstream use.
