A Serial With Your Cereal: The New York Times will publish next week the first installment of a summer book series. Starting Monday with F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby" and ending in August with "The Color of Water" by James McBride, each of the four well-known books will come to readers in seven daily chunks.
