Portugal TV ad market seen growing below Europe: Portugal's television advertising market should grow at an average annual rate of just 2.4 percent through 2012, below Western Europe's 3.8 percent and far behind regional leader Spain, PricewaterhouseCoopers said on Tuesday.
It put television advertising revenue in Portugal, Spain's smaller Iberian neighbour, at 589.7 million euros ($833.4 million) in 2012, up from last year's 524.7 million euros. [...]
In Portugal, multichannel advertising investment is seen at 65 million euros in 2012, up from 36.5 million last year. Common television advertising drew 488 million euros last year, with the amount expected to rise to 524 million in 2012.
