Silicon Valley Donations: Microsoft Loves Hillary; Google, Obama
Microsoft employees have donated a total of about $130,000 to Clinton, far more than any of the other six major candidates, according to a searchable database of the political donations at Fundrace, a project of the Huffington Post.
At Google, donations favored Obama over the New York senator by $97,771 to $46,610.
Yahoo staff also donated more money to Obama's campaign by almost two-thirds.

Marketing the Next President of the United States: "Republicans tend to do better when they look like a high-school quarterback or a CEO — square jaw, cropped hair," [Michael Lewis, a marketing professor at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis] said. "Democrats did better when they had the look of a college professor."

O problema não são os jornalistas
What's really wrong with newspapers: What’s most frustrating is that the discussion fails to focus on the more significant reasons behind the decline in newspaper journalism. They are:
-The creation of monopoly markets and, through consolidation, cartels of newspaper ownership. [...]
-Consolidation of newspapers into large, publicly held companies. [...]
-A largely defensive strategy took hold, even though history shows that no company under siege ever merely cut its way to recovery. [...]
-Groupthink was a natural outgrowth of monopolies and the demands of Wall Street. [...]
-Leadership collapsed under the weight of these forces. [...]
-The biggest problem, of course, had nothing to do with the newsrooms.

Simply birolliant - the incredible 10ft 'photographs' drawn with a ballpoint pen
[Juan Francisco] Casas said: "I guess it started off as a joke, to try and make something so realistic that people would think is a photo. [...]
The only drawback is that he can't erase any errors. He said: "Mistakes are the main problem. It's better if I make them at the beginning."

Better Than Free: The internet is a copy machine. [...]
When copies are super abundant, they become worthless.
When copies are super abundant, stuff which can't be copied becomes scarce and valuable.
When copies are free, you need to sell things which can not be copied.
Well, what can't be copied?
