PE aprova lei para remover conteúdos de carácter terrorista online em menos de uma hora: O Parlamento Europeu (PE) aprovou uma legislação que obriga as plataformas digitais a removerem conteúdo de caráter terrorista em menos de uma hora, com o intuito de "lutar contra a difusão" deste tipo de conteúdos online.

A lei em questão visa conteúdos como "textos, imagens, gravações de som ou vídeos, em particular as transmissões em direto" que "incitem, solicitem ou contribuam para infrações terroristas" ou que "forneçam instruções" ou encorajem pessoas "a participar num grupo terrorista", lê-se numa nota de imprensa do PE, publicada depois do resultado da votação ser conhecido, na quarta-feira à noite.
